240 tonnes with 10 m radius - casting elbow replacement in Eisenhüttenstadt
Start of a new order at ArcelorMittal in Eisenhüttenstadt, Brandenburg. After a very positive supplier evaluation from our customer, we were able to start, as last year, with a casting elbow replacement.

This is dismantled in strand 2, reconditioned and then reinstalled in strand 1. This is not an easy task, as the pouring elbow weighs 240 tonnes and has a radius of 10 metres.

The complete project is scheduled to take 9 months with extensive assembly hours.
The actual changeover then takes place within a 48-hour shutdown.

Great performance by the colleagues and good that AcelorMittal in Eisenhüttenstadt has confirmed the further business relationship with ETABO in parallel with the very good supplier rating.

It is clear that everyone on site is working to continue to shape and expand this cooperation in the best possible way.
