Completion of the BALANCE OF PLANT project in Pirmasens on schedule

ETABO's Berlin team acquired also an order from EEW Energy from Waste GmbH for the Pirmasens waste-to-energy plant. Our ETABO scope of supply and services includes the engineering, manufacture, delivery, assembly and commissioning of the piping systems and associated components (balance of plant) for a new steam turbine.

In addition, there is extensive steel construction and also some dismantling work.

A first important milestone has been reached, the installation of the new low-pressure preheater together with a heavy-duty company in the cramped existing plant.
In the next step, we dismantle the old turbo set with the same partner to make room for the new one.
During the 10-day shutdown of the entire plant in July, extensive piping installations and enclosures have to be completed.

We expect our site activities to be completed on schedule by mid-September this year.
