The listed combined heat and power plant of a major well-known car manufacturer is considered a landmark of the city. The plan is to complete the changeover from coal to a gas and steam turbine plant and hot water boilers at this location by 2022 at the latest.

"Now our team has been awarded the contract for the assembly of pipelines and the associated components for the two new water tube boilers to be erected in the machine hall," explains project manager Andreas Berger.
"We are responsible for the corresponding site installation, the fabrication and assembly of the pipelines as well as the installation of the fittings and sectional steels. Supplemented by appropriate pressure tests," Berger continues.

"A fine project in which we are happy to demonstrate our skills in pipeline construction. We are delighted to have been awarded the contract by Kraftanlagen Hamburg," adds Division Manager Björn Bühner.

Installation is scheduled to start at the beginning of October this year, and the project is due to finish at the end of May 2022.
