ETABO's Team West received new framework contracts for 5 years from one of the largest refineries and the largest chemical company in the chemical region of Cologne (in Cologne-Worringen already since 01.05.19 with an option for 1 year extension) for the execution of maintenance work as well as work preparation, primary and secondary steel construction up to the new construction of pipelines, the documentation and the recurring tests on equipment and pipelines. The service package also includes the decommissioning and commissioning of tanks and their repair as well as turnaround work for up to 100 employees.
The responsible persons for the Cologne-Godorf site Siegfried Rausch and Cologne-Worringen Oliver Siebert are pleased and emphasise: "During the entire term, the magazine will be managed incl. material purchases and transport services in the plants. With an average manpower of about 120 employees in the refinery and 30 employees in the chemical company, we are confident that we will be able to fully meet the tasks and requirements of our customers".
The automation division also received a new framework contract from the chemical industry in Wesseling. Andreas Radoch (Head of Automation) is very happy about the commissioning of the EI&C repair, maintenance and servicing work and, above all, the ATEX tests to be carried out in the process.
"The trust of our customers motivates my team of 15 to 20 colleagues and me to constantly expand and improve our performance".
Anne Semisch, Head of the Netherlands Division, agrees. "Good performance is confirmed by new contracts. In addition to framework contract work, we will also carry out project work at Oiltanking Amsterdam B.V.. Here we draw on the expertise and know-how of the ETABO Group (project management, engineering, quality management, etc.)."
The framework contract work now commissioned for a contract period of 2 years with the option of a 1-year extension for the areas of Operations and Maintenance and Repair includes, among others:

- Fully equipped service vans for flexible and fast deployment
- Work preparation and documentation
- Asbestos removal from flange gaskets (BatterySpray®)
- Disassembly and assembly of pipelines, fittings, steel construction
- Cleaning, reconditioning and pressure testing of expansion joints
- Repair of railings, platforms as well as production and assembly of walking platforms
- Disassembly and assembly of product pumps
- Shutting off piping systems (plug-in discs)
- Periodic inspection of pipelines according to DIN/EN
- Disassembly and cleaning of VRU filters
- Connecting sliders to tanks
- Laying Victaulic pipelines (fire extinguishing system)
- Repair of butterfly valves
- Welding work of all dimensions incl. documentation according to DIN/EN
- Measurement of pipelines and preparation of isometrics
- Repairs to tanks (fitting double plates to tank bottoms)
- Preparation of work permits, execution of TRA as well as LMRA by our occupational safety specialists
- Procurement of materials
