Dated 15.02.2017 Nicolas Korte, managing director of ETABO Energietechnik und Anlagenservice GmbH has been voted into the board of FDBR – Industrial Association Plant engineering, Energy. Environment. Process industry. In the board he will represent section 5 – plant service. Dr. Reinhard Maaß, FDBR´s managing director: „We are happy to welcome Mr. Nicolas Korte to the board as an engaged representative for the large group of mediumsized companies.

Especially the group of smaller and mediumsized companies are challenged to find a new orientation in a changing market and gain a new, sustainable business in servicing existing plants. Service will be the future of the industry. Experience and innovation come together in maintenance in order to ensure the future competitiveness of Germany as an industrial location.

With his open mind to innovations and his long year rootedness in the traditions of our industry, we judge Nicolas Korte as the particulate appropriate choice to moderate the interface between old and new markets as well as between small and large companies and represent it to the public."

„After almost 30 consecutive years in the industry I´m very glad about the appointment to FDBR´s board. Considering the importance of the association this is clearly a highlight of my career. Industrial associations very often are totally untruly underrated in their importance for representation of an economic sector to the outside and as the voice in public and towards politics. My strong believe is, that membership, and even more, active engagement, contribute to the public appearance of the industry. My promise is to intensify my efforts in my new role", Nicolas Korte comments.
